In Armenia, Earth Hour brings together thousands of people around one idea by switching off the lights of the most well-known monuments of the country

Armenia is asking participants to record a video of themselves saying they will be participating in Earth Hour 2016 and share it on Facebook. They are engaging students through a drawing contest for students where the final art pieces will be showcased at an eco-cafe and a candle lit dinner. This will lead up to a press conference which will be held on the 18th of March, where WWF representatives, ministers and different NGOs are expected to attend.
